Healing the Pain of Family Estrangement: Best Treatment Strategies and Common Pitfalls
Early Bird $149 / Regular Price (from October 7) $169
We are thrilled to finally invite you back to the first in-person program for the Anatomy of Anatomy of Intimacy since Fall 2021!
We are eager to create the space to allow all of us Zoomed-out therapists to enjoy a day of interactive learning in the actual physical company of our colleagues! We have certainly missed the opportunity for professional learning and connection. The Foundation for the Contemporary Family is underwriting this event so that we can offer it at a low cost—and include lunch. Plus, we are able to give out more scholarships than before.
Our series begins with Dr. Joshua Coleman, a renowned psychologist specializing in the treatment of family estrangement, a much requested topic. He will offer a fascinating and practical program on understanding the many types of family estrangements, focusing on why adult children cut ties and how therapists can best help repair the conflict while avoiding the pitfalls that inadvertently make the problem worse.
